Phillips Staffing names Brooke Ferguson as Director of Business Development

August 9, 2016

Surging demand for top talent and human capital solutions by manufacturing and logistics organizations across the Southeast has led Phillips Staffing, one of South Carolina’s largest and fastest-growing staffing and human capital solution providers, to add Brooke Ferguson as Director of Business Development on its rapidly growing team.

Mrs. Ferguson joins Phillips with 14 years of experience working in economic development, city and regional planning, and market research. Prior to joining Phillips she worked for the Greenville Area Development Corporation, the economic development arm of Greenville County, for four years where she served as Development Manager. While with the GADC, Mrs. Ferguson handled a broad array of business retention and expansion, recruiting and workforce development assignments, and also managed The Matrix, Greenville County’s 1,100-acre industrial park.

A native of Greenwood, South Carolina, Mrs. Ferguson attended Wofford College where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics and Government, and later earned a Master in Science degree in Community Development from Kansas State University. She is a member of the South Carolina Economic Developers Association, Urban Land Institute, American Planning Association and American Institute of Certified Planners. She is AICP-certified.

With Phillips, Mrs. Ferguson will work with both corporate and branch office leadership to identify and pursue opportunities for growth across the Phillips Staffing Southeastern footprint.

“We are so pleased to welcome a talented professional like Brooke to the Phillips family,” said Ed Parris, President of Phillips Staffing. “She brings extensive experience and credentials to our organization, along with a strong drive to see our company grow even more. We couldn’t be more excited to have her on board.”
