Pitner Downtown – the first and only orthodontic office in South Carolina exclusively for adults – opens in downtown Columbia

Dr. Leslie Pitner, owner of Pitner Orthodontics, announces the opening of Pitner Downtown: Orthodontics for Adults at 1201 Main Street in the Capitol Center in downtown Columbia on March 29th, 2016.
“More and more adults want to improve their smiles through orthodontic treatment,” said Dr. Pitner. “I see every day the remarkable changes a new smile makes in their lives. My goal in opening Pitner Downtown is to make it easier and more convenient for anyone, regardless of age, to enjoy the benefits of a confident smile. Often adults tell me they’d like to improve their smile but feel uncomfortable at the thought of being surrounded by kids and teenagers getting their braces adjusted. This practice will be completely different. The new adult office will be a calm oasis that you’ll look forward to visiting, a place where we’ll offer only the most discreet options, such as Invisalign and hidden braces. And our technology is the most advanced available — so treatment will be faster and more comfortable.”
Pitner Orthodontics has been serving the greater Columbia community for over 40 years, and Pitner Downtown: Orthodontics for Adults will be one of the few practices in the United States dedicated solely to adults. “This is a new idea that has been needed in orthodontics for some time now,” said Dr. Pitner. “We feel if we make it easier for adults to get the smile they want, we can help improve their lives — because changing your smile will definitely change your life.”
