Popcorn Parlor Coming to Greenville’s Main Street

GREENVILLE, SC – May 30, 2012 – May 30, 2012 – Amanda Henry’s Popcorn Parlor, a gourmet popcorn shop will be opening its doors for the first time in mid to late July at 18 Augusta Street with entrances on Augusta Street and Main Street. Gourmet popcorn shops have gained popularity in several areas around the country, but this will be the first of its kind in the Greenville area. Amanda Henry’s Popcorn Parlor will offer over 30 flavor varieties of popcorn including favorites such as caramel, cherry, cheddar, and sour cream & chive; and plans to add a new flavor each month. They will also offer snacks such as pretzels, ice cream, Hawaiian ice, and soft drinks.
Lee & Associates – Greenville broker, James McKissick represented the new business owner Jennifer Chambers in this 2,375 square foot lease transaction. Chambers states that the business is named for her daughter Amanda and son Henry and will be family-owned and operated. In addition to their retail shop, they plan to capture business for special events and corporate gifts.
