Pope Zeigler Announces Name Change to Pope Flynn

April 6, 2015

COLUMBIA, SC – Pope Zeigler, a public finance and governmental law firm with offices in Columbia, Charlotte, and Spartanburg, has changed its corporate name to Pope Flynn following the departure of one of the firm’s founding members, Belton Zeigler.

“Eight years ago Belton and I founded Pope Zeigler together,” says Margaret Pope, the firm’s other founding member. “Belton’s vision and courage in that decision helped us build the platform necessary to achieve my goal of establishing a nationally recognized public finance practice, and we grew every single year since inception — from three attorneys to our current nine and from one location to three. I am grateful for his friendship and partnership. Belton can now focus on his energy and regulatory practice and he has chosen a law firm with the platform and resources to support him in those fields. We wish him great success in his endeavors and look forward to opportunities to collaborate with him in the future.”
