Rhythmlink announces enhancements to MRI Conditional Electrodes

January 5, 2016

Rhythmlink announces new enhancements to their MRI Conditional/CT Electrodes. The first and only FDA cleared disposable MRI Conditional Electrodes on the market can now be left on a patient during a CT scan, producing an artifact free CT image.

The MRI Conditional/CT Electrodes help eliminate the need and cost to have staff available to remove and reapply EEG electrodes each time a patient requires magnetic resonance [MR] imaging for 1.5T and 3T or CT scans. The ability to leave these electrodes on the patients provide efficiency and usefulness to both patient care and radiology staff by enabling a continuous collection of EEG data, without producing any artifact during a CT scan.

The MRI Conditional/CT Electrodes are available in Deep Cup, Slim Cup, Webb and PressOn™ options and come in various colors and quantities.
