Richland County Government grant supports Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia is honored to announce being selected by Richland County Council to receive a Discretionary grant from Richland County Government.

The Discretionary Grant program is designed to provide financial support to organizations and agencies that carry out community-based programs and/or services throughout Richland County. In keeping with the mission of Richland County Government, this program attempts to encourage organizations to continue to offer innovative and much needed services that enhance the quality of life for all citizens of Richland County.

“We are so grateful for the support of the Richland County Government. These funds will directly impact the lives of children in the Midlands by providing one-to-one support for their mentoring relationships, creating opportunities to change lives,” said Cristy Marshall, President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia.
