A Conversation with Riley Csernica, Founder, Tarian Orthotics

Entrepreneurship. Knowledge Economy. Diversity.

A very cool story about how two young students from Clemson University, Riley Csernica and Chelsea Ex-Lubeskie,  decided to commercialize their class project.

Tarian Orthotics designs, manufactures, and sells innovative sports medicine products that improve patient comfort and care. They design unique and effective products and help sports medicine professionals get their ideas into the market place.

In 2012, a team of biomedical researchers met with a physical therapist who expressed the need for improved shoulder bracing options for athletes. The engineering team found a need in the sports medicine industry that extended far beyond shoulder braces. Tarian was founded to bridge the gap between clinicians with innovative ideas and sports medicine distributors by specializing in the commercialization of sports medicine products.
