S.C. Chamber announces H.R. Professional of the Year

The State Chamber is proud to announce the South Carolina H.R. Professional of the Year, Sharon Sellers, President of SLS Consulting, LLC, who was named at our 2016 H.R. Conference in Hilton Head. The Award for Professional Excellence in Human Resources Management, sponsored by Ogletree Deakins, recognizes creative approaches and consistently high performance that benefits the individual’s company or organization and the business and professional community. This annual award is a joint venture of the State Chamber of Commerce and the South Carolina State Council/Society for Human Resource Management.

State Chamber President, Ted Pitts, released the following statement congratulating Ms. Sellers:

“A strong Human Resources component is critical to any successful business organization and we were proud to honor those who excel in this field at the 26^th Annual H.R. Conference in Hilton Head. We congratulate all those who were chosen as finalists and we are especially pleased to name Ms. Sharon Sellers South Carolina’s H.R. Professional of the year.  Not only is Ms. Sellers an accomplished H.R Professional, but she is an entrepreneur as well, founding SLS Solutions, which is based in South Carolina, but operates internationally. We look forward to Ms. Sellers continued contributions to South Carolina’s H.R. industry and we congratulate her on this award.”
