Key documents for K-12 registration, connection tools for college students just a few clicks away

The start of another school year is just around the corner, and SCE&G wants to remind customers of online tools that can help make the back-to- school process a smoother one.

“Many K-12 students are now registering for school, which requires parents and guardians to obtain key documents like utility statements,” said Sam Dozier, vice president of customer service for SCE&G. “We want to remind our customers that a copy of their current energy bill is just a few clicks away. Just visit our website, log into your account and print. It’s a great way to save time during the back-to- school rush.”

College students living off campus can also utilize SCE&G’s online features for connecting and disconnecting services.Parents of college students can also take advantage of SCE&G’s third party notification service, which sends an alert if payments have been missed or disconnection notices have been issued.

“In addition to these convenient tools, our website also provides information on energy efficiency, budget billing, light bulb offers and more.” Dozier said. “It’s never too early for college students to learn about making good energy choices.”
