August 12, 2016

Security Management, a security services firm with clients across the southeast, has officially moved their company operations from Sumter, SC to Columbia, SC.

Locally owned and operated since 1997, Security Management employs over 500 security personnel with a focus on protecting both individuals and property. In addition to many private companies and gated communities, notable clients include the Columbia Fireflies baseball team, Santee Cooper, Georgia Power, SC Department of Health & Human Services, and Veteran Affairs Regional Office.

“We are extremely excited about moving our headquarters to Columbia, SC. We believe this move positions our company to better serve South Carolina’s expanding economy, as well as broaden and strengthen our core business,” said newly-elected CEO Paul Gilliam.

Security Management specializes in connecting clients with professional security officers for armed and unarmed patrol services; providing facility access control for day, night, and 24-hour coverage; and performing on-site security surveys. Security Management has been honored with the Governor’s State Workforce Investment Board Award & Outstanding Employer Partner for hiring and maintaining a high percentage of veterans within their workforce.
