Senior Resources Launches “Share the Love” Holiday Card Campaign to Support Meals On Wheels During the Holidays

December 8, 2014

COLUMBIA, SC –  Senior Resources launches its “Share the Love” holiday card campaign to raise funds and awareness of senior hunger issues during the holidays.  Each holiday season offers the public the opportunity to “Share the Love by Giving the Gift that Gives Again.”  This time of year for seniors is the most isolated, the loneliest, and is when they are more likely to go without enough food to eat.

Your $5 donation to Senior Resources’ “Share the Love” holiday card campaign enables you to make a gift in honor or memory of a loved one or friend.  Your gift will help a senior receive a meal and a visit through Meal On Wheels during the holiday season.  Senior Resources Executive Director, Pam Dukes says, “This is the time of the year we can raise the spirits of our seniors by giving them the extra care and attention they deserve through a hot, nutritious meals given with a warm smile”.

Senior Resources makes your giving easy.  You may purchase your cards online at www.seniorresourcesinc.org and include the list of your card recipients, and we will mail them for you.  You may also purchase your cards by mail at 2817 Millwood Avenue, Columbia, SC  29205.  Your holiday will be more meaningful when you “Share the Love by Giving the Gift that Gives Again.”
