SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar partners with One80 Place through Kitchen Karma Program

June 22, 2017

Starting next Monday, June 26, Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar in Mt. Pleasant, Summerville and Downtown Charleston will partner with One80 Place to raise money through the restaurant’sKitchen Karma program over the next six weeks. Proceeds will directly support One80 Place, whose mission is to provide food, shelter and hope to end homelessness and hunger.

“When it comes to picking charities for our Kitchen Karma program, we look to pick different ones for each restaurant. All of the charities are local and give back right here in the Lowcountry,” explains David Clark, owner of SOL. “With the Grand Opening of our Downtown location, we are very excited to partner with 180Place as they are also located in Downtown and help provide care for homeless citizens around the Charleston area.”

SOL raises these funds through its Kitchen Karma program. With this program, SOL chooses a featured dish and a featured cocktail and donates $1 from every featured item purchased at SOL within that fundraising period. The featured items for the One80 Placepartnership include the Jalapeno Cucumber Margarita and Texas BBQ Bacon Burger.
