South Carolina Federal Credit Union Sponsors East Cooper Entrepreneurial Women

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – January 2, 2012 – South Carolina Federal Credit Union is the platinum corporate sponsor for East Cooper Entrepreneurial Women through August 31, 2012.

We strongly believe in the small businesses and the entrepreneurs who lead them in our region,” said South Carolina Federal President and CEO Scott Woods.  “Providing financial support along with financial education to these professionals is a win-win.”

This is the first year that South Carolina Federal has partnered with East Cooper Entrepreneurial Women.

East Cooper Entrepreneurial Women’s goal is “to create wealth, give back to the community and promote well-being by strengthening the business capabilities and leadership skills of women entrepreneurs.” Their membership consists of local businesswomen who represent a variety of fields including advertising, public relations, media, construction, real estate, education, government, finance, healthcare, insurance, nonprofit administration and more.
