South Carolina Federal Sponsors Junior Achievement

N. CHARLESTON – January 10, 2012 – South Carolina Federal Credit Union presented Junior Achievement of Coastal South Carolina with a sponsorship check of $5,000 on January 4. “Financial education is an integral part of our mission at South Carolina Federal,” said Scott Woods, President & CEO, South Carolina Federal Credit Union. “Through this partnership with Junior Achievement, we anticipate reaching more students with the tools they’ll need to reach long-term success.”
South Carolina Federal’s sponsorship will directly benefit West Ashley High School where South Carolina Federal will continue to present financial education seminars with the addition of Junior Achievement curriculum in the coming year.
“With support from organizations like South Carolina Federal, Junior Achievement will reach more local students,” said Chad Vail, President, Junior Achievement of Coastal South Carolina. “Our goal is to ensure as many students as possible are empowered to own their economic success with Junior Achievement programs.”
