Tournament Staff Members to be Outfitted in Southern Tide Apparel

GREENVILLE, SC – July 22, 2011Southern Tide, Greenville, S.C.-based manufacturer of a rapidly growing lifestyle brand of apparel, has been named as the official clothing sponsor for the tournament staff of the 2011 World Team Tennis (WTT) Finals presented by GEICO. The WTT Finals is a coed team tennis competition featuring some of the biggest names in tennis, vying for the coveted King Trophy, named after Billie Jean King, co-founder of World Team Tennis League. The tournament will be held at The Family Circle Tennis Center in Charleston, S.C., July 22-24.

As part of the sponsorship, WTT staff members will be outfitted in Southern Tide Skipjack Polo shirts throughout the tournament. In addition, Southern Tide will have in-stadium signage and will be featured on the WTT website. Officials of the 2011 WTT Finals say they expect more than 10,000 spectators to attend the event.
