Sweet Olive to Highlight Locally Made Products for Body & Spirit with Living Local Happy Hour
July 26, 2011MOUNT PLEASANT, SC – July 25, 2011 – With the wide variety of talented and creative local artists and products in the Lowcountry, Sweet Olive is proud to announce a new free monthly happy hour to celebrate everything local with the Sweet Olive’s Living Local night.
The July Living Local Happy Hour will take place Thursday, July 28 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Sweet Olive located in the heart of I’On at 264 N. Shelmore Boulevard in Mount Pleasant. The public is invited to stop in for their free chance to sample some of the locally produced delights, meet the vendors and celebrate everything local. The theme of the July event will focus on products for the body and spirit by showcasing the creations from local vendors such as Deep Steep, Rewined Candles, Mission Essentials, Carolina Coaster, Buddy’s Beni Bug Off and more. Future monthly themes will include locally made artists and authors and horticulture. Wine and beverages will also be provided.
“Our first Living Local Happy Hour was a great success. It was lovely to see the camaraderie that local vendors have with each other. Supporting our local businesses is crucial to the Lowcountry. ” said Melinda Wrenn, owner of Sweet Olive.
During the happy hour, patrons can also take advantage of the 10 percent discount happening only during the event.
