The Beach Company acquires property in Forest Acres

COLUMBIA, SC – An affiliate of The Beach Company, headquartered in Charleston, S.C., announces the acquisition of approximately 12 acres in the City of Forest Acres, S.C., at the former site of Cardinal Newman High School.

A suburb of Columbia, S.C., the City of Forest Acres is a desirable location for families and individuals of all ages. The plan for the new-mixed use development plan includes:

  • 256 luxury rental apartment homes and townhomes
  • Approximately 42,000 square feet of neighborhood retail, restaurants and services

The plan will create a gathering place to complement the neighborhood with shops, restaurants, services and upscale amenities in a walkable setting. Construction is expected to begin in early 2017.
