The Blue Dogs to play South Carolina College All Star Bowl After Party

GREENVILLE, SC – March 23, 2013 – Legendary Americana-tinged contemporary rock band The Blue Dogs will be playing a special concert for fans of the South Carolina College All Star Bowl on March 23.

The Blue Dogs will be performing at Fluor Field following the inaugural South Carolina College All Star Bowl for VIP ticket holders. These tickets include VIP parking, VIP game seating, side line access, food and beverage and entrance to the VIP After Party. Tickets can be purchased at www.sccollegeallstarbowl.com.

Based out of Charleston, the Blue Dogs have released nine albums and two DVDs during its 25-year career.  The band tours primarily on the East Coast, but has loyal followings in the Northeast, Midwest and the rest of the Southeast.  The band has played on stage with the likes of Willie Nelson, Widespread Panic, Bruce Hornsby, and Little Feat.

The South Carolina College All Star Bowl will be played on March 23, 2013 at 3 p.m. at North Greenville University. The game will be aired live to more than 4.5 million viewers throughout South Carolina as well as parts of Georgia and North Carolina. South Carolina State University legend Willie Jeffries will coach the Lowcountry team and Clemson University great Danny Ford will lead the Upstate team. Clemson and University of South Carolina broadcasters Will Merritt and Todd Ellis will provide commentary and insight for the game.
