GREENVILLE, SC –  The Grainger Foundation, an independent, private foundation, based in Lake Forest, Illinois, has donated $5,000 to the Greenville Tech Foundation, Inc., to support the mission of Greenville Technical College of driving personal and economic growth through learning.

“This grant will be used to purchase five state-of-the-art drill presses that will be used in training mechatronics students,” said Duane Anderson, Mechatronics Department Head at Greenville Technical College. “We are grateful to The Grainger Foundation for its generosity.”

Anderson said this program currently serves 80 students each year.

This donation was recommended by Ryan Tiller, Senior Director of Regional Distribution, and Paul Ellis, Market Manager, of W.W. Grainger Inc.’s, Fountain Inn and Greenville locations, respectively.
