The Junior League of Columbia Announces the City’s Largest Annual Rummage Sale

February 7, 2015, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. ~

COLUMBIA, SC – On February 7, 2015, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Junior League of Columbia will host the 18th annual one-day rummage sale, Clean Sweep. Clean Sweep will feature new and used items donated by League members, citizens and local businesses, and will take place at the Cantey Building at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds.

Items featured at the sale include handbags, jewelry, books, music, games, children’s toys and clothing, maternity clothing, furniture, home and garden, house wares, holiday, appliances and electronics, linens and sporting goods.

The Clean Sweep Sale is a fundraiser to support the Junior League of Columbia’s mission and community projects related to strengthening the health and well-being of children and families in the Midlands. Hundreds are expected to attend the event.

Gates open at 7 a.m. and parking is $2 per car. Doors open at 8 a.m. and admission is $3 per person; children under 12 are admitted for free. Clean Sweep will close from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. in preparation for the famous $5 BAG SALE, which begins at 12:30 p.m. and ends at 1 p.m.
