The Salvation Army of the Midlands Annual Christmas Campaign Kickoff scheduled for Monday, November 23, 2015

COLUMBIA, SC – The Salvation Army’s annual Christmas campaign kickoff event is scheduled for Monday, November 23rd on the north grounds and front steps of the South Carolina State House with a start time of 11:00 a.m.  The public is encouraged to attend along with Salvation Army supporters and bell ringers from this season or seasons past.
The event is scheduled to feature a live performance by Heathwood Hall Episcopal School concert choir. In addition, The Salvation Army of the Midlands plans to honor several local companies and groups for their support of The Salvation Army’s Christmas programs.  Major Roger Coulson, Regional Coordinator/Corps Officer at The Salvation Army of the Midlands, will preside with support from David Wells, Chairman of The Salvation Army of the Midlands advisory board. Media is invited to attend and cover the event.
