Timmons joins Greer State Bank

Mortgage Department Continues to Grow

GREER, SC – Greer State Bank welcomes Scott Timmons as Branch Manager/Private Banker and Assistant Vice President for the bank.  Scott joins the team with over 10 years of banking experience. Serving at the Buncombe Road branch, Scott will be responsible for leading the branch team, business development and customer acquisition. Scott will assume the Private Banking responsibilities while working closely with Greer Financial Services and Wealth Management.

Having served in the Marine Corps, Scott is currently the Vice Chairman of The Greenville chapter of the National Marine Corps Business Network. Scott previously served on the board of Blue Tent Org, formerly Camp Opportunity, a non-profit that focuses on abused and neglected children in the Upstate, along with volunteering as Assistant Baseball Coach for Greenville Little League. Scott, along with his wife Allison and their two children reside in Simpsonville and attend Simpsonville First Baptist Church.

In addition, Greer State Bank Mortgage recently hired Jerri Lyn Johannes and Chelsea Suriano as Loan Processors. Together they will serve in the bank’s Corporate Office.

Chelsea brings 9 years of experience in the banking industry. She and her husband Steven live in Greer and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child. Jerri Lyn comes to Greer State Bank with over 17 years of experience in the mortgage industry. She and her family reside in Pickens, SC.
