United Community Bank presents Angel Tree Opportunity during the Holidays

November 22, 2016

angel_tree_flyerUnited Community Bank is thrilled to announce that all branches across the Upstate are once again offering an opportunity to the public to donate to a less fortunate child this holiday season. Between Nov. 9-Dec. 1, all United branches across the Upstate will have a Christmas tree in their lobby with names and information for the community to choose a child in need.

“United Community Bank is committed to serving our communities for the better, and we are pleased to contribute to such a wonderful cause,” said Michelle Seaver, President of United Community Bank for Greenville County. “By contributing to children in need, we not only honor this commitment, but are able to enhance the lives of others, which is the ultimate gift to receive during the holidays.”

To ensure gifts are distributed in time for Christmas, a deadline to return gifts is set for Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016 to the same branch where the ‘Be An Angel’ tag was selected. The bank asks the public to only donate new items and turn in unwrapped presents. To distribute the gifts anonymously, please only include the child’s name.

United Community Bank has previously participated in this initiative by partnering with local social service agencies and other humanitarian organizations. Last year, the bank collected gifts for more than 400 children in the Upstate. For more information, visit or call a local United Community Bank branch before Dec.1.
