Upstate Transit Coalition Names 2015 Board, Elects Officers

GREENVILLE, SC – Tripp Muldrow, principal at Arnett Muldrow & Associates, has been elected 2015 Chair of the Upstate Transit Coalition (UTC), an organization that educates and advocates for strong public and multimodal transportation for the Upstate region. Muldrow is an urban planner with extensive experience applying urban design concepts to economic development policies and strategies.

Other UTC officers are: Vice Chairman, Eric McCarthy, VP Government Relations & General Counsel, Proterra; Secretary, Sandy Hanebrink, Executive Director, Touch The Future; and Treasurer, Princella Lee-Bridges, CEO/Founder of Bridges From Augusta, Inc.

Named as UTC board members are: Deb Ayers, Owner, Ayers Leather Shop; Adam Gautsch, Principal, OrangeCoat and ImageThat.io; Lisa Hallo, Director of Sustainable Communities & Greenville B-cycle, Upstate Forever; Bill Stephenson, Senior Vice President, BB&T; and Ramon Nieves, Chief Marketing Officer, Unicomm Media Group.

The mission of the Upstate Transit Coalition is to: educate community leaders and citizens on the important role public transportation plays in a growing community; disseminate information about public transportation and multimodal growth initiatives throughout the Upstate region of South Carolina; and inform the parties about specific things they can do to support public transit.

The Upstate Transit Coalition meets the second Wednesday of the month at 8 a.m. at DishOut Café and Catering, 728 Wade Hampton Boulevard.
