USC Upstate plans downtown Greenville location

SPARTANBURG, SC The University of South Carolina Upstate will hold a media announcement on Monday, February 8 at 11:00 a.m. at 501 River Street to unveil plans for an additional location in downtown Greenville. This second site will house exciting new academic initiatives that afford USC Upstate the opportunity to expand in Greenville.

Joining USC Upstate Chancellor Tom Moore in making remarks will be Greenville Mayor Pro Tem Jill Littlejohn; Mr. Phil Hughes, president of Hughes Investments; and Mr. Stacey Mills, interim executive director of the USC Upstate Greenville Campus.

“USC Upstate is clearly moving in the right direction in Greenville,” said Chancellor Tom Moore. “Securing this vital space in the heart of downtown Greenville enlarges our academic footprint. This facility will be a headquarters for engaging with the Greenville community.”

According to Moore, USC Upstate will maintain its current location at the University Center Greenville where it offers bachelor’s degree completion and master’s degrees.
