USC Upstate School of Education to Host Open House for Graduate Programs

March 14, 2012

SPARTANBURG, SC – The University of South Carolina Upstate’s School of Education will host a drop-in open house on Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 3 – 6 p.m. to share information about its graduate level programs. The open house will be located in the JM Smith Boardroom in the Health Education Complex on USC Upstate’s Spartanburg campus.

USC Upstate’s graduate programs in education are designed for certified teachers who wish to pursue graduate courses leading to a master’s degree, recertification, certification in an additional area, and courses for professional growth and development. Courses are scheduled to accommodate the busy schedules of working professionals. Internet and hybrid courses are also available.

The open house will provide information on the graduate programs admissions requirements, financial aid, and program of study framework. It will also highlight the fast-track master’s degree programs, a convenient way to earn a master’s degree in early childhood education, elementary education, or special education for the visually impaired in as little as 18 months. School of Education faculty will be at the open houses and will be available to answer questions about the programs.
