Wine and Design Hosts Much-Anticipated Painting Class Under Arthur Ravenel Bridge

Thursday, April 26 from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m.

CHARLESTON, SC – Wine and Design is the recently renamed andrefurbished Mt. Pleasant art studio hosting weekly group paintingclasses, summer camps and local art events.

Wine and Design in Mt. Pleasant will “paint it forward” as theyhost their 4th annual “Painting Under the Bridge” class benefitingBlessing of the Fleet and the local shrimping community. Wine and Design will partner once again with the Mt. Pleasant Pier and CharlestonCounty Park and Recreation Commission for this special annual outdoorpainting class under the Arthur Ravenel Bridge. Participants will bepainting a colorful shrimp on wood canvases by following step-by-stepinstructions from teacher James Irving. There will also be live musicprovided by Livy Conner and the Magwoods of Magwood Seafood will make an appearance.
 
Wine and Design owner Heather Speizman and her team were the largestcontributors to the Blessing cause in 2011 and hope to outdo theirdonation this year. All Wine and Design staff is donating their time for this special evening and ALL proceeds from the event will go toBlessing of the Fleet.
 
Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park and Mt. Pleasant Pier, on Harry M. Hallman Jr. Blvd
 
Cost is $40, which includes all paint supplies and the finishedcanvas, and ALL proceeds will benefit Blessing of the Fleet. Beer andwine will be for sale by CCPRC and must be purchased on site.
