ZWO Completes Rebranding Project for Hope Center for Children

May 3, 2014

GREENVILLE, SC – May 1, 2014  – ZWO [formerly Woodward & Zwolinski] has completed a rebranding project for the Hope Center for Children. The Hope Center, located in Spartanburg, South Carolina and created through a merger of the Ellen Hines Smith Girls’ Home and the Children Shelter of the Upstate, serves children through case management services and home visits designed to prevent abuse, an emergency shelter, residential care for girls in foster care, and post-adoption or family reunification transition services. The rebranding project included renaming the Ellen Hines Smith Girls’ Home, developing a logo and letterhead package, and conducting a press event announcing the new name and brand. The re-branding press event, which included press kits and giveaways, resulted in a $10,000 donation to the center.

“We wanted a warm, safe look for the new logo,” says Tina Zwolinski, CEO of ZWO. “The gold sun in the middle of the blue letters is meant to be bright and hopeful. And the name reminds everyone of the hope that comes to children who walk through the center’s doors each day.” “We were thrilled to be asked to help the Hope Center with their rebranding efforts. A large part of our work with clients focuses on building and reaching youth markets for our clients, so we spend a good deal of time with young people and learning from them. In addition, our company’s volunteer commitments focus almost entirely on organizations that help young people, through leadership programs, sports camps, adoption, charter and public schools, emergency shelters, and other initiatives. So helping the Hope Center with its mission was a natural fit for our team.”
