“Salute to the Military” at the Colonial Cup

The Carolina Cup Racing Association will continue its tradition of honoring service members and their families at the 44th Annual Marion du Pont Scott Colonial Cup on Saturday November 23, 2013 in Camden.
As part of the event’s “Salute to the Military,” thousands of service personnel, active and retired, as well as their family members will be able to enjoy the fall steeplechase races free of charge. Complimentary tickets are now available.

Ticket Timeline
- On Tuesday, September 3rd, reservations open for complimentary tickets for service and discount ticket sales at $20 each for the general public.
- On November 8th, ticket prices increase to $30.
- Children younger than 12 years old are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
About the Carolina Cup Racing Association
The Carolina Cup Racing Association hosts the Carolina Cup and the Colonial Cup races to fulfill its mission of operating Springdale Race Course as both an equestrian and tourism center. The non-profit organization also makes significant charitable donations each year. The CCRA’s charitable goal in 2013 is $250,000, with ticket and monetary donations benefiting military families as well as KershawHealth, the Jaycees, the Junior Welfare League and other local non-profit organizations.
