13th Annual Shucking for a Cause scheduled for Sunday

This year’s Shucking for a Cause seafood festival and oyster roast is being held on Sunday, January 11 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm at the Hanser House Restaurant (14360 Ocean Hwy. Pawleys Island, SC 29585) to benefit The Outreach Farm.
There will be all-you-can-eat oysters while supplies last at the Hanser House, and tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the event.
In addition, the event includes live music by The Winchesters and a DJ playing during breaks. There will also be local vendors, a cornhole tournament, 50/50 raffle, Kids Zone with Bounce House, hot food options, beer trucks and a cash bar. Admission is $5, and children under 10 are admitted free with a paying adult.
The Outreach Farm is a local non-profit that has provided no cost protein to 33 clients across Georgetown, Horry and Williamsburg counties that are feeding the hungry for the past 20 years. They have delivered more than 290,000 servings of protein in the past year.
