1×1 Design’s Asheley Scott to begin serving as President of the Clemson Architectural Foundation

1×1 Design announced that Asheley Scott, AIA, LEED AP, has begun serving a two-year term as the President of the Clemson Architectural Foundation (CAF), leading a board of more than 40 trustees. Asheley has been serving on various roles on the board since being elected as a trustee in 2011. These include positions as Secretary from 2013-2015 and Vice President from 2015-2017.

The Clemson Architectural Foundation supports the School of Architecture and related disciplines, along with other various means of collaboration with the School and Clemson University leadership. CAF concentrates on supporting student and faculty grant requests for various research, awards, travel, and lecture series, and also owns and operates the Charles E. Daniel Center for Building Studies and Urban research in Genoa, Italy, where many of the students study aboard. Additionally, the foundation supports the other Fluid Campus locations in Barcelona and Charleston.
