1×1 Design awarded a Historic Columbia Foundation Preservation Award

COLUMBIA, SC – 1×1 Design is pleased to announce that the renovations of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church have received a Historic Columbia Foundation Preservation Award for Preservation/Restoration.
The church was formally united in 1886 and completed the construction of the stone sanctuary that sits at the corner of Bull and Blanding Streets in 1914. The complete interior renovation included plaster repair, refurbishment of heart pine floors and original pews, restoration of original stained glass windows, and the custom application of a Venetian Plaster at the chancel. Mashburn Construction Company served as the general contractor for the project.
