1×1 Design Welcomes Alison Martin and Seth Barnett as Summer Interns
May 26, 2015COLUMBIA, SC – 1×1 Design announced that Alison Martin and Seth Barnett have joined 1×1 Design as summer interns.
Alison has re-joined the team after completing her first of two years of graduate school at Clemson University. In her current graduate studies, Alison is working as the Health and Safety Officer for Clemson University’s entry into the U.S. Department of Energy’s 2015 Solar Decathlon competition, titled Indigo Pine. She will travel this fall semester with the team to Irvine, California for the competition this October, where the team will construct a second version of Indigo Pine along with entries from 15 other schools from across the nation.
Seth has just completed his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, with a minor in sociology, from Clemson University. While at Clemson, Seth was a Palmetto Fellows Scholarship recipient and spent a semester studying abroad in Genoa, Italy. Seth will continue his education in the fall, starting his graduate studies at North Carolina State University in the Fall.
