2012 Magnolia Gardens Photo Contest winners announced

CHARLESTON, SC – August 15, 2012 – Three South Carolina photographers took the top prizes in the 2012 Magnolia Plantation and Gardens Photo Contest. 

The winners, the title of their pictures and the prizes are:

• Donna Eaton, Mountain Rest, S.C., first-place, “Hi There!”, $350; 

• Mary Presson Roberts, Tega Cay, S.C., second-place, “Well Dressed in White”, $300; and
• Kate Silvia, Charleston, third-place, “Magnolia Sunrise Reflection”, $250.

The winning pictures and a list of the 13 photographers who received honorable mention and a $100 prize, along with their photographs, are posted at Magnolia’s website, www.magnoliaplantation.com. 

The contest was held in conjunction with the Lowcountry Photographic Club.
