2014 Holiday Parade of Homes

December 6th through the 14th | at The Gates of Windermere in LongCreek Plantation

 

The Home Builders Association of Greater Columbia is pleased to announce the 2014 Holiday Parade of Homes, December 6th through the 14th. The annual event will be held at The Gates of Windermere in LongCreek Plantation in Northeast Columbia. The event features four new, custom homes by some of the Midlands top builders including Blue Ribbon Builders, Executive Construction, LLC, GreenSense Homes, and Rex Thompson Builders. There will also be an Expo Tent with displays and information on products and services for your home.

Attendees will see two homes that are fully furnished and decorated by local interior designers, plus the Holiday House which will contain various Christmas Trees decorated by local businesses. These trees will be up for silent auction throughout the Parade of Homes and all proceeds from the auction will go to various area charities.

Homes range in price from $325,000 to $450,000. Attendees will see the latest trends in home building and interior design, and learn about Low Impact Development (LID) techniques used by the land developer and high-performance construction techniques used by some of the builders. Attendees will be able to vote on their favorite home, interior design and Charity Christmas Tree. The Charity represented by the tree with the most votes will receive $1,000 from the HBA Charitable Foundation.

The event is open daily from December 6 – 14 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Tickets are sold at the gate and are $4 per person. Free admission for Seniors age 62 and up, active Military personnel with I.D., and kids 14 and under. Tuesday, December 9 is Two-For-One Day – buy one ticket at the gate and get another one free. Wednesday, December 10 is Real Estate Professionals Day. Real Estate agents may enter for free if they present their business card at the gate.
