2026 McDaniels Auto Group Golf Classic and gala to raise funds for Lexington Health Foundation
March 31, 2026A pair of annual events benefiting cancer patients in the Midlands is returning this spring. Tickets are now available for the 2026 McDaniels Gala, and limited team spots remain for the accompanying McDaniels Golf Classic. Both events raise funds to support Lexington Health’s Cancer Center patients.
The Impact:
Since 2018, the Golf Classic and Gala presented by McDaniels Auto Group have raised more than $4,500,000 for life-saving cancer programs and services at Lexington Health. The proceeds benefit the Lexington Health Foundation’s McDaniels-Pucci Cancer Fund to assist cancer patients throughout their entire journey from detection to ringing the survivorship bell.
About the Events:
- The McDaniels Golf Classic is on Friday, April 24 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will be held at Fort Jackson Golf Club’s Wildcat and Old Hickory courses. The tournament offers a full day of golf beginning with breakfast and opening remarks at the Clubhouse and ending with an awards dinner after play has concluded.
- The McDaniels Gala will take place a week later on Friday, May 1 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. It features live and silent auctions, heavy hors d’oeuvres and food stations, an open bar with signature cocktails and live entertainment.
What They’re Saying:
“The incredible support we receive during these two events makes a profound difference in our mission. It allows us to stand beside our patients during their most difficult moments, ensuring that no one in the Midlands faces a cancer diagnosis alone. Every ticket sold and auction bid placed is a direct investment in a neighbor’s journey toward recovery.” –Lauren Peebles, Lexington Health Foundation Executive Director
“Being there for cancer patients during their most vulnerable moments is at the heart of why we started this. The amount of support we have received over the years is a testament to our community’s spirit. We want every patient at Lexington Health to know they have a village behind them.” –Bill McDaniels, McDaniels Auto Group President, Owner, and Founder
“Cancer touches all our lives in some way, and that shared experience is what drives our mission. We wouldn’t be able to hold these events or provide this level of life-saving support without our generous partners and sponsors. Their selflessness allows us to turn a day of golf and an evening of celebration into a lifeline for families facing a difficult diagnosis.” –Suzanne Pucci, McDaniels Golf Classic and Gala Chair
