23 Stand-out South Carolinians Selected for Liberty Fellowship's Next Class
July 11, 2012CHARLESTON, SC – July 11, 2012 – The ninth class of Liberty Fellows wasannounced this week – 23 leaders at the top of their game and willingto take the next step to move South Carolina forward.
“The Fellows in this class represent a wealth of varied experiences,remarkable individual successes and a shared, keen focus on SouthCarolina’s challenges and potential,” remarked Hayne Hipp, LibertyFellowship founder.
The lifelong Liberty Fellowship program has Fellows attending fourrigorous seminars over a two-year period where they will reflect on whatthey think makes a just society, thereby deepening knowledge,broadening perspectives and enhancing their capacity to solve theproblems leaders face. One of these seminars is the Aspen InstituteGlobalization Seminar, where they will interact with other Fellows fromaround the world in locations such as South Africa, Central America andIndia. Additionally, each Liberty Fellow commits to a personal projectwith the potential to have an impact at the state level.
