274 Midlands children receive clothing, shoes and school supplies through Salvation Army Clothes for Kids program

274 local students received back to school clothing, shoes, school supplies and book bags as part of the Salvation Army’s annual Clothes for Kids program. Families visited The Salvation Army Center for Worship and Service on August 12 to pick up the donations.
The Salvation Army set up table displays with Clothes for Kids information July 29-August 7 at both Columbiana Centre and Columbia Place Mall. Local shoppers were given the opportunity to shop for individual children in the program.
Innersole provided new shoes for all 274 children in the program. Many local businesses and supporters donated clothing, supplies and backpacks.
