Graham Flanary joins Charleston Grill team as Dining Room Manager

June 8, 2017

The Charleston Grill recently announced the appointment of Graham Flanary to the position of Dining Room Manager.

Graham was born and raised in Knoxville Tennessee. He originally started working in the food and beverage industry while studying advertising and marketing at the University of Tennessee. As part of the opening team for Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Knoxville in 2007, and during his tenure over the next seven years, he learned all aspects of the operation. When he made the move to Charleston in 2013, he knew he wanted to continue to pursue a career in the food and beverage industry and quickly landed a position at Cypress Lowcountry Grill, initially as a server and was later promoted to management.

“I’m really excited to join Mickey Bakst and the team at Charleston Grill – it’s one of those truly rare restaurants that honors the lost art of white table cloth service, without being stuffy or mechanical,“ explains Graham. “The live jazz, professional wait staff, sommeliers, and Chef Michelle Weaver and her entire kitchen team consistently deliver a memorable experience that is truly unique and that I’m honored to be a part of.”

Charleston Grill is located in the historic district of Charleston, South Carolina at the renowned Belmond Charleston Place hotel. It is open for dinner, with a live jazz accompaniment, daily from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
