Interim HealthCare of the Upstate receives A+ Certification from The Home Care Standards Bureau
August 6, 2018Interim HealthCare of the Upstate, a locally owned and operated home health and hospice services provider, is excited to announce that the home care agency has received an A+ certification from The Home Care Standards Bureau.
Interim obtained the A+ certification by complying with a number of requirements set forth by The Home Care Standards Bureau. In order to receive the certification, Interim had to meet and adhere to a stringent code of standards and ethics including requiring insurance and licensing, extensive background checks and annual training for all caregivers. To maintain the certification in the future, Interim must submit to regular audits to ensure that all standards are being maintained including proper insurance, state licensing, background checks and caregiver education.
Interim is one of only 200 agencies across the United States to receive an A+ certification.
“This certification is a tremendous honor for Interim, and it reaffirms how our staff cares deeply about providing A+ care to all of our patients,” said Sarah Deal, director of senior services. “We want our clients and their families to know they’re getting the very best care when they choose Interim, and meeting this set of stringent standards is one more way we’re able to show that commitment.”
