Creep-Crawly Critters are Back at the Museum
July 14, 2014ANDERSON, SC – August 16, 2014 – Back by popular demand! If you like creepy-crawly critters then come to the Museum on Saturday, August 16th because the Critter Keeper is back.
The Critter Keeper provides memorable entertainment, education, and reinforcement of traditional values to children of all ages. Kids will love meeting Julius, the albino Burmese python; Citrus, the Australian Bearded Dragon; Clyde, the Savannah Monitor; Fiona, the Argentine Tegu, as well as other reptiles and arthropods from all over the world. Entertaining and exciting, surprising and sometimes a little scary, the Critter Keeper will captivate children with interesting facts, entertaining stories, appropriate life applications, and of course, all his critter sidekicks. If you haven’t seen the Critter Keeper in action then this is a must see and come to event. Shows are at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Invite your friends to join you. Donations to the Anderson County Museum’s Educational Programs will be accepted in lieu of a ticket price for this event.
The Anderson County Museum is at 202 East Greenville Street, in downtown Anderson. The Fred Whitten Gallery and Museum Store hours are Tuesday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Wednesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Research Room is open 1 to 4 p.m. on Thursdays and by appointment.
