Compensation a Key to Attract, Motivate and Engage Employees
February 15, 2012CLEMSON, SC – February 15, 2011 – Priority Performance Group announces that Bob DiAntonio, VP and Principal Consultant, has achieved the designation of Certified Compensation Professional (CCP®).
The World at Work CCP® designation, recognized as the world’s standard since 1976, is known throughout the rewards community as a mark of expertise and excellence in the field of compensation and total rewards. Achieving this certification required coursework and passing a certification exam in nine areas of expertise in compensation and total rewards. These areas of expertise include:
- job analysis, documentation and evaluation
- compliance with wage and salary laws and regulations
- design and implementation of pay systems that achieve both internal equity and an organization’s desired position relative to relevant external markets
- variable pay systems
- optimizing compensation as one part of a total rewards strategy to attract, motivate, engage and retain employees
Many businesses lack a systematic approach to compensation. Somehave simply out grown their system. Some have allowed inattention tomake their system less effective than it should be.
In contrast, a welldesigned compensation system allows an organization to attract, motivate, engage and retain the type of workforce needed for continuedgrowth and success. Such a system ensures both internal equity and anappropriate level of competitiveness in external markets.
