Greenville Housing Fund Welcomes Two New Employees

GREENVILLE, SC – November 10, 2010 – The Greenville Housing Fund (GHF) has recently added two new members to its staff: John Corcoran of Greenville, SC as Program Manager and Patiya Freely of Greenville, SC as Program Analyst.
Corcoran comes to GHF’s Program Manager position with over 14 years of experience in development, consulting, real estate and finance. He was formerly Vice President of Tax Advantage Group, Vice President of Mercy Housing and Vice President/Owner of Millennium Development Partners. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from the University of Georgia. As Program Manager, Corcoran will serve as the IDA Coordinator to manage and unify the Greenville IDA Network, support the coordination of the Greenville Housing Network Advisory Committee, collect and disseminate reports to funders and network partners, and communicate with collaborating organizations located across the state to enhance the capacity of GHF in order to more effectively impact the community.
Freely comes to GHF with ample experience in the field of social work, advocacy, grant writing, and nonprofit administration. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Howard University and a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Community and Administrative Practices from University of Illinois in Chicago. As Program Analyst, Freely will perform underwriting loan assistance and other grant writing activities, coordinate project and loan closings, track and report activities to funders and government entities, and prepare financial and accounting reports for management and board reviews.

The Greenville Housing Fund (GHF) is a non-profit organization established in 2008 to promote and increase affordable housing units available in Greenville County.
