Ingredients:
- 5 oz bar (1 bar) of organic dark chocolate finely chopped*
- 10-12 large pretzel sticks
- 1 cup unsweetened shredded organic coconut (add more if needed)
- 1 cup finely chopped or ground nuts (more if needed)
- Organic, dye-free sprinkles if desired*
Directions:
- Melt chocolate over low heat in a double boiler making sure no water gets into the chocolate – stirring constantly.
- Dip pretzels into chocolate or drizzle chocolate over pretzel to coat and sprinkle desired toppings.
- Let pretzels set on parchment lined tray.
- Once set, either serve or put in fridge.
*(Such as Sunspire, Pascha or Green & Black organic. You can also use organic dark chocolate chips. Sprinkles (or jimmies) are always a nice little treat and fun for added color. To keep it ‘healthier’ you can use sprinkles that are free of chemical based food dyes. A brand we like is Nature’s Colors by India Tree, found on Amazon.)
