Ingredients:

  • 5 oz bar (1 bar) of organic dark chocolate finely chopped*
  • 10-12 large pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup unsweetened shredded organic coconut (add more if needed)
  • 1 cup finely chopped or ground nuts (more if needed)
  • Organic, dye-free sprinkles if desired*

Directions:

  1. Melt chocolate over low heat in a double boiler making sure no water gets into the chocolate – stirring constantly.
  2. Dip pretzels into chocolate or drizzle chocolate over pretzel to coat and sprinkle desired toppings.
  3. Let pretzels set on parchment lined tray.
  4. Once set, either serve or put in fridge.

*(Such as Sunspire, Pascha or Green & Black organic. You can also use organic dark chocolate chips. Sprinkles (or jimmies) are always a nice little treat and fun for added color. To keep it ‘healthier’ you can use sprinkles that are free of chemical based food dyes. A brand we like is Nature’s Colors by India Tree, found on Amazon.)
