Local Advertising Organization Seeks Nonprofit Client for 2015-2016 Public Service Campaign
 .
COLUMBIA, SC – The American Advertising Federation (AAF) of The Midlands has announced they are accepting applications from nonprofit organizations to become the club’s public service client for 2015-2016. The Midlands chapter selects one nonprofit organization in our community and assists them with their marketing and advertising needs.AAF of the Midlands selected The Southeastern Piano Festival to serve as public service candidate for 2014-2015 to benefit from a greater awareness of this year’s 13th annual festival. It was important for them to support and communicate how the festival continues to enrich the lives of the youth who participate and how it contributes to the thriving cultural life of the Midlands.Together, they analyzed past communication plans to determine the most beneficial media mix, spend and timing that would maximize reach to the target market. Through compelling video footage from 2014 events, they created an engaging, real-world depiction of the festival and what it does for the community. Together, they increased media presence, engaged consumers through a stronger social media initiative, and are rolling out a multi-media campaign to drive awareness and ticket sales. The experience has been rewarding on both ends– “As the festival continues to evolve, we were thrilled to have a partner in AAF to help us strategically plan for the event,” Marina Lomazov, SEPF founder and artistic director.

 .

To qualify to become the next public service client applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Richland or Lexington County. The deadline for proposals is Friday, April 24, 2015. Finalists will be notified and asked to make a 5-10 minute presentation to the AAF of the Midlands Board in early May 2015. The selected nonprofit will be notified shortly thereafter and announcement of the winner will be made at the May 2015 AAF of the Midlands monthly luncheon.
