Stove Top Chocolate Pudding

Store-bought instant pudding has ingredients that are harmful to your health like: Modified Food Starch, Cocoa Processed With Alkali, Disodium Phosphate, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Salt, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Mono-and Diglycerides, Red 40, Yellow 5, Blue 1, Artificial Color, BHA (Preservative).
Why not try this simple and delicious stove-top chocolate pudding that is easy and delicious?Ā This recipe has been adapted from a Taste of Home recipe.
- 1 cup organic white sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups non-fat milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions
Place first 5 ingredients in a medium pot and whisk over medium heat.Ā Bring pudding to a light boil and allow to bubble for 2 minutes.Ā Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, and pour into single serving bowls.Ā Allow to completely cool.Ā Optional:Ā Once cooled, top with your favorite toppings such as real whipped cream, coconut flakes, sliced bananas, fresh berries, chocolate shavings, or chopped nuts.
