Autism Software Developer Announces Hiring of Susan DuRant as Director of Education

COLUMBIA, SC – April 8, 2009 – Accelerations Educational Software (AES), a leading provider of software for individuals with autism and other related disorders, is pleased to announce the addition of Susan DuRant to the newly established position of Director of Education. Ms. DuRant is the parent of a child with autism and brings over 40 years of experience in education.

With a well-established track record in the field of education, Susan DuRant served as the Director of Special Education for multiple school districts for over 20 years and also served as the Director of Special Education for the state of South Carolina for over 8 years. Her daughter with autism, now 35, has been a driving force behind her commitment to special needs students.
