Carter Goble Lee Welcomes Return of Reservist

COLUMBIA, SC – June 10, 2008 – Carter Goble Lee welcomes the return of Ben Crooks who has served in support of “Operation Enduring Freedom” with the MP Battalion, 3rd BDE, 95th Division for the past year. His second year-long tour included six months of planning and training of Military Police Officers at the Unit Headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, most who deployed to the Theater of Operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.  He spent six months at the Pentagon in the Office of the Chief of Army Reserves working on US Training Command Budgets to determine current and future needs of Reserve Training Commands.

Mr. Crooks began his law enforcement and corrections career in the US Army in 1988 as a Military Police Officer.  He has worked in the private and public sectors as a Certified Fraud Examiner and risk mitigation consultant.  He is currently a member of the Army Reserves as The Chief Instructor at the Military Police Institutional Training Center.   

Mr. Crooks joined the CGL team in 2004 after serving as the Detention Director of the adult detention facility in El Dorado, Kansas.
