U.S. General Services Administration Awards Contract to SCRA

September 25, 2007

CHARLESTON, SC – September 25, 2007 – SCRA, a global leader in applied research and commercialization services, announced today a contract with the
U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to provide information technology (IT) professional services to Federal Government agencies. The Contract has a
base period of five years, beginning September 15, 2007 with three additional 5-year option periods.

GSA IT Schedules assist Government activities in obtaining the best value with direct delivery of millions of state-of-the-art, high-quality commercial supplies and services at volume discount pricing.  All Government customers, even those in remote locations, can order the latest technology and quality supplies and services, conveniently, and at most-favored customer prices.

GSA Schedules also offer the potential benefits of shorter lead-times, lower administrative costs, and reduced inventories. The contract vehicle provides a centralized source for Federal Government agencies to secure IT-related services. It provides efficient access to a broad range of services, enabling complex IT solutions to be acquired under a pre-competed award. The IT professional services available include program management, operations and maintenance, and engineering.

“SCRA is pleased to be on the GSA schedule for IT services,” said SCRA CEO Bill Mahoney. “This agreement reflects not only the quality of SCRA solutions
in important information technology segments – but also the excellence of GSA as a partner in meeting Federal Government needs.”
