Folly Association of Business is seeking Event Manager to coordinate Annual Folly Beach Festivals

The Folly Association of Business (FAB) is looking for an event manager to plan and coordinate four Folly Beach festivals. FAB hosts four outdoor festivals throughout the year including the Bill Murray Look-A-Like Polar Bear Plunge, Taste of Folly Street Festival & Cocktail Competition, Folly Gras Parade & Street Festival and Sea & Sand Street Festival.

The applicant will contract with FAB to plan each event in partnership with the City of Folly Beach and will manage the execution of all aspects of the four festivals including concept development, planning, day of coordination, overall event management, logistics, budget management, programming, implementation, obtaining sponsorships and analysis.

FAB is an organization whose mission is to strengthen the business district on Folly Beach. This includes facilitating collaboration within the Folly Beach business community, organizing support of charitable organizations and executing the festivals that bring off-season revenue and support Folly Beach charities.
